AF MSC Association Recruitment Survey Results

In 2009 the Membership Committee conducted a survey.  It was very disappointing to only receive 18 responses which represent only 2.3% of our membership.  One could of course assume that the reason members did not send a response was that they “agreed” and felt “no changes” were needed regarding the items on the survey.  That is basically what was reflected in the 18 responses.  Fourteen agreed with “What We Stand For” and 13 agreed the area that most effects retention and recruitment is Membership Benefits.  Seventeen read the newsletter and 15 said it provides the news/info/updates that they were most interested in.  Seventeen us the Directory and felt no change was needed.  Only of 4 of the 18 respondents used the website.  Ten of the 18 attended the reunions and 16 felt every 2 years was the right timing for reunions to be held.
